Additional Resources
Hello Prodeo Families! Here are some resources providing assistance to families in the Twin Cities area.
Food Resources
- A new program called P-EBT is for students who are normally able to get free or reduced-price school meals. Apply and get up to $325 per child to spend on groceries. Children may continue to receive "grab n go" meals or emergency food at COVID-19 emergency feeding sites offered by schools and community locations, even if they are receiving P-EBT benefits. Applications are open June 8 at noon through June 30. Apply here.
- Lonnie Robinson, a friend of Prodeo Academy, is organizing the collection and distribution of resources, and they are partnering specifically with Prodeo families. Families can text Lonnie at 763-402-3803 if they are in need of food, toiletries, diapers, etc. Text all of the information needed in one text: name, address, list of essential needs (household items/food), diaper sizes, and total family size. Lonnie and his team will put together baskets of supplies and arrange delivery.
- Families can view an interactive map that has donation and distribution site info for the Twin Cities area.
- For St. Paul families, there is also a pop-up food pantry at the corner of Rice and Maryland.
