E-Learning Days
Prodeo Academy will utilize E-Learning Days in times of inclement weather. Schools across Minnesota have added E-Learning to ensure scholars continue learning even when it is not safe enough to come to our campuses. These days also reduce the risk of adding days at the end of the academic year.
Prodeo Academy E-Learning Policy:
What is an E-Learning Day?
An E-Learning Day will take place at home for your scholar. Each of our academies will provide scholars with an asynchronous lesson packet at the beginning of inclement weather season and assign a lesson in the event we transition to E-Learning for a day. Our teachers and staff will be available for online and over-the-phone support throughout the day to ensure your child can be successful with the day’s lesson.
Notification
Families will be notified at least 2 hours prior to the beginning of our normal instructional hours. Notifications will be made on major new media, social media, text messages, and robocalls to all families. Please ensure your family’s contact information is updated with your school’s office.
When an E-Learning Day is Called
Prodeo Academy may use up to 5 days during inclement weather events. The following factors will be considered in making that decision:
- Multi-day inclement weather events
- Our ability to notify families before 5:30 am
- The number of days we have needed to cancel school
Attendance
All students are required to engage in their day’s lesson packet during regular school hours, 7:35 am - 2:20 pm, and attendance will be taken.
